Need assistance with a criminal law matter?
Your first step will generally be to contact Victoria Legal Aid.
Some Community Legal Centres (CLCs) provide assistance with criminal matters. Contact your local CLC to ask if they can help.
You might also want to contact Court Network. Court Network is a free and confidential community service provided by volunteers for all court users in Victoria. Services they provide include:
- support for victims of crime and witnesses to attend court
- legal assistance for people accused of criminal activity.
