About the Housing Justice for People in Disability Accommodation Project

Villamanta is working on a project that focuses on people living in disability accommodation in Victoria.

We will work alongside our project partners VALID, the Centre for Innovative Justice and VLA to deliver:

  • Individual legal support
  • Lived experience peer networks
  • Community legal education
  • Collective advocacy for improving laws and regulation
  • Co-designed and evidence-based recommendations

Together, we aim to improve equal access to housing that is safe, stable, affordable and meets the needs of people with disabilities.

The project is funded through the Legal Services Board Grants Program
