For 25 years, Brenda worked with young people and adults who needed support and guidance to achieve their personal, educational and career goals. She was committed to supporting the families of young people by introducing them to options that would improve their relationships, communications and foster positive ways forward for their families.

Brenda has worked in the Education and Welfare sectors both in Melbourne and Geelong, and her work has led to the development of strong networks in the youth, education and disability sectors.

Brenda’s knowledge of the disability sector has come from supporting her son with complex disabilities, and she also volunteered at Villamanta before joining the Committee of Management.

Brenda lives in Geelong West after moving from Melbourne, and she enjoys swimming, tango, reading, film and walking.
